Department of Catholic Schools
The Superintendent of Catholic Schools heads this department. The Department of Catholic Schools provides information, guidelines, assistance, and services to the schools that are ordinarily site-based managed and under the leadership of the principal. Although governance of the schools is at the local level, pastors and principals are expected to follow policies and guidelines approved for schools by the Archbishop. Schools are also expected to follow curricula guidelines. In some special circumstances, decisions may need to be made by the Department of Catholic Schools that would ordinarily be made at the local level.
