A Catholic education is about the community that the school, its students, and families build together. Parents, grandparents and guardians have many opportunities to grow involved with the school. The time spent is measured in 'Fair Share' hours.
Each family with two parents or guardians comits to 30 volunteer hours a school year. Single-parent families comit to 15 hours.
Fair share hours can be earned through opportunities that include:
- classroom volunteering
- teacher assistance from home (grading, cutting, pasting, etc.)
- field trip chaperoning
- sports team coaching
- fundraising (see Development for specific opportunities)
- others?
In order to volunteer and assist with children, parents and guardians must complete a background check and attend 'training - what is its name?'.
