This Week's Bulletin
100 Years of Grace
Holy Redeemer continues to celebrate its 100 years of grace in the North Portland community.
ADDITIONAL TIME FOR CONFESSIONS.....The Sacrament of Confession may very well be the Church's best kept secret. While this has not always been true, it may be true for the past 40 years. On Thursdays, confessions will be heard from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (This is in addition to our regular Saturday confessions.)
GOOD NEWS
After more than ten years of experimenting, the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration of Clyde, Missouri, have developed a host that is safe for consumption by sufferers of celiac disease, yet also remains in compliance with the strict guidelines of Canon Law. Celiac disease is a digestive disorder triggered by gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and other grains. It affects one in about 130 Americans.
We are happy to let you know that we have ordered some of these hosts. If you suffer from celiac disease, please call the Rectory. We will work out a system/plan so that you will be able to go to Holy Communion. Please call us.
