Beyond the Classroom:
Before & After School Care
Holy Redeemer offers a safe and engaging Before and Aftercare Program, called BTC (Beyond the Classroom), for children ages 3–12. Students are divided into two age groups—Preschool/Pre-K BTC and Elementary BTC to provide age-appropriate activities, support, and supervision. Children enjoy outside playtime for fresh air and active movement, and homework time is provided for elementary students to reinforce learning. Elementary students are offered a school-provided snack, while Preschool and Pre-K students enjoy a parent-prepared snack with their class before school is dismissed. Our program also offers a variety of enrichment clubs, including Books, Science, Art, Cooking, and Culture, giving children the opportunity to explore new interests, develop skills, and engage in fun, hands-on learning experiences. Holy Redeemer’s Before and Aftercare provides a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, friendship, and personal growth.
To ensure we meet the Oregon Early Learning licensing requirements for staff/student ratios, you will need to register for the days and hours you need care.
Space is limited, so applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served.
To register your child for BTC, please complete the BTC Enrollment Form and the BTC Financial Agreement Form (links below) and email them to cray@holyredeemerpdx.org.
