MUSIC

Strings Class

Starting in fourth grade and continuing into fifth, students enhance their required arts curriculum by participating in Strings Class. Fourth graders begin their journey with the violin, while fifth graders have the option to continue with the violin or transition to the cello. Each student is carefully fitted with an instrument tailored to their unique size and needs, ensuring a comfortable and enriching learning experience.

Private Music Lessons

At Holy Redeemer, we proudly uphold a tradition of nurturing musical talent through private lessons offered during and after the school day. These individualized sessions allow students to focus on mastering a specific instrument or vocal skill. We provide private instruction in piano, violin, cello, guitar, and voice, as well as group lessons for those interested in joining our dynamic pep band.

Gold and Blue Choir

We offer an extracurricular choir for both elementary and middle school students, providing them with opportunities to showcase their musical talents. The choir alternates in leading music for school Masses and monthly parish Masses. They also perform at special events, including an annual Christmas Grotto performance, our own HR Christmas program as well as our spring concert.
